The simple gesture of a smartphone holding up a rock presents nature and the digital technology as interconnected support systems for our current existence. Taking its form from a traditional style deadfall trap used in survival situations, Deadfall questions what sorts of traps we might be unwittingly setting for ourselves and the resulting danger and beauty of our current ecological and technological situations.
